You can do this, but in all honesty, you have your time with a leg trap. Coyotes chew their own feet / legs instead occupied by a trick or a wedge of steel leghold traps ..... Like wolves will.They are incredibly intelligent and very hard to catch .... If you have a problem coyote is much easier to shoot, after a call to win, but with Predator ... or the lure of carrion or spoiled / rotten meat ......
